Stop Motion: Be You
We were given a project to make any type of video that relates to identity. I chose to do a stop motion video. This short video is starring a roughly shaped orange playdough blob that is struggling with low self-esteem body image. This is something that is on a rise and seems to be affecting children younger and younger every year. I myself have struggled with self-esteem issues. This video illustrates that you don't have to mold yourself to fit in. Everyone is shaped differently and that's okay. The filtered videos and pictures we see daily on social media are just that, filters that trick us into believing that others are flawless, making us want to change our appearance or hate ourselves. But everyone is beautiful in their own way, just Be You.
